snowy tree

Went for a run with my friend this morning and it started snowing almost as soon as we left the car! It wasn't hard and not too windy so generally was quite nice, though the path was icy in places and care was needed.
I did manage to fall over - on a soft grassy bit where I tripped over a root - but was only slightly damaged so was aboe to carry on.
The loch was frozen and turnes white with the snow.
This afternoon Mr Rat and I went to visit our previous minister and his wife who served us homemade scones and lemon drizzle cake yum. It was really good to catch up with them again.
Lovely evening sky on the way home but not much sunrise today.
