MonoMonday261 Hope...
Hope against hope: to cling to a mere possibility, hope or wish for with little reason or justification
Peggy Sue spends quite a large of part of her day being hopeful: mostly her hopes involve food, especially treats. She often sits on the stairs, watching the child gate that we have in place to prevent cats going upstairs, in the hope that someone will fail to close it so that she can sneak by to her favourite bedroom. With both of these she has a fair amount of success. She also likes to bird watch, sometimes on the patio, sometimes at a window as you see here today. I'm sure she dreams of catching a fair few but really she is hoping against hope here: she is quite a weighty animal and not especially quick off the mark, nor of course can she jump through glass, so the birds are quite safe from her thank goodness!
Many thanks to Jensphotos for hosting this month.
