Guizer Jarl Handover

A wet morning, but it passed by lunchtime, and some sunshine.  There was some haily puckles in the afternoon, but clear into a calm evening, and clear skies. 

I was up fairly early for a Sunday, but it's been a fairly lazy day.  Some house chores this morning, a couple of walks with Sammy, but mostly relaxing on the sofa watching telly.  A lazy evening by the fire.

Last night was brilliant.  We watched all the squads doing their acts, plenty of laughs, drams and catch up friends.  This year's Jarl has had his big day and last night's Return, and a few more events throughout the coming year, but all good things come to an end, and time to handover the galley shed to next year's Jarl.  They'll have a busy year ahead making their costumes.  Guizer Jarl Maurice Jamieson and George Martin on stage at the Scalloway Hall.
