Sunshine on Leith

So; that's the first week over without my gorgeous little MollyCollie.

And today I have been bored, bored, bored!!!

I'll be totally honest here and say that when I got home at 11.30pm last night I demolished half a bottle of wine, which was just sitting in the fridge waiting to be drunk. Obviously I'd also had a few glasses of wine when I was out! Fortunately I have enough sense not to drive the 'morning after the night before', so gave Aquafit a miss. …...........Actually I had no intention of going to Aquafit. …...............Because nothing ever hurts, I never actually feel that I'm working out.

Anyway I didn't get up until after 9am because I had nothing to get up for.  However for the first time in a week I ate breakfast. I've just been existing on gallons of coffee. Two slices of toast. Going to have to throw the rest of the bread out. It's gone mouldy. And I automatically saved two little bits for MollyCollie.

And then I decided I might as well buy a day ticket on the buses and go out for the day. So that is what I did............................

Popped up to 'Juvenate' because I knew the very lovely Aquafit Ladies would be having a coffee after the class. And to be honest, if I hadn't talked to them, I would have spent the whole day talking to myself. Went for a swim. 100 lengths. Whoooooohoooooo. But only cos I had nothing better to do.

And then I jumped on a bus and went down to Leith because that was where the bus was going and I had nothing better to do. The Waterfront at Leith is actually quite nice. Lots of lovely little bars & coffee shops. But did I want to sit by myself in a bar or coffee shop? I did not! ….........So I didn't. If I'd been out for the day with MollyCollie, we certainly would have stopped for a coffee somewhere. We would have just chillaxed, taking in the ambience of the place. We probably would have had lunch too. I haven't eaten anything since my two slices of toast this morning.

Mooched about, jumped on and off a few more buses. Couldn't find anything to Blip. That's why you've got this c*** photo. Got home about 5pm.

Oh and I've signed up for re-homing notifications from the 'Border Collie Trust'. Not sure whether that's a good thing to do or not? ….........But it's done now. My 'Bestie' said that when she was pregnant with her second child she was worried that she wouldn't love her as much as her first born. Apparently she did! And when the third one came along she loved him just as much as well. She seems to think that I will be able to love another dog. I'm just worried that I won't be able to love any other dog as much as I loved MollyCollie.

Oh well, ho hum. I'm going to have Chicken casserole (which I made a few days ago and froze because after I lost Molls, I couldn't face eating anything), jacket potato and sweetcorn for dinner. I must weigh myself. Maybe I'll be a size 8 by now. Lol!

…............And then I have a very difficult decision to make............................. Do I watch 'Call the Midwife' or 'Vera'???

Happy Sunday Evening Blippers xxx
