The Locals

When we were at the cinema yesterday, the english couple who live here suggested visiting Botha's Hill and Hillcrest in The Valley of 1000 Hills on the outskirts of Durban.

There were some lovely viewpoints and we enjoyed refreshments at a small shopping area in Botha's Hill with beautiful Views. A shop owner I started chatting with mentioned travelling on to Montiseel and the Inanda Dam. Following the sat nav we went through some dubious areas where they probably don't see a lot of tourists! Cows, goats and chickens were roadside for many miles. Driving from the Inanda Dam through Matabetule I snapped the two young boys staring at us - as were the cows!

We made it safely home and will be eating out after baked potato evening in last night.
