A Point of View

We took the easiest of the three waymarked walks in the immediate vicinity today. A simple circuit that climbs a hill to a viewpoint at the top and then returns down again. Just under 6 Km and 150 metres of climb, approximately. To this we added the walk to and from the start point, making our walk 8.3 Km. Fitbit also counted 46 flights of stairs equivalent. A pleasant walk. 

Sadly, the viewpoint was disappointing and offered very little in the way of views. This shot came from the route back down.

Tomorrow we may tackle the next easiest walk. Or do this one again. or not. Depends how much sleep we get. Last night there was partying until after 4am. We were not happy little tourist bunnies! We did consider leaving today but were assured that noise here is unusual and we should be fine tonight. The current plan is to depart on Monday.

We both feel inclined to head for home now. Feeling like we have hd sufficient holiday.  Maybe we will get over it but right now, the pull is strong. Plus, we have things to do, with B-day heading ever closer and no sign of anything sensible being done to stop it.
