What A Difference The Sun Makes

Taken from roughly the same spot as yesterday's Blip on my way into work.

A later start than usual to avoid the snow.  The way my luck is going I didn't fancy sliding my way to the bus stop.

We got a new bit of furniture delivered today.  A piece of furniture that needed assembling.  Assembling by the Craftsmen supplied by the company we bought the furniture from.

Surely these craftsmen were going to be different from every other halfwit with a toolbox that we have had to deal with?

In answer to my question, that would be a "No".

Highlights included:

insisting that the doors didn't fit and they'd HAVE to drill new holes for them (G turned the doors upside down and lo and behold they fitted)

not being able to read their own assembly instructions

breaking a drawer

not having handles for the doors...

Another glorious entry in the Enormous Book Of Incredibly Rubbish Workmen.  And they get to come back.  Oh Yay for that.

And for those who think we were just unlucky, I refer the honourable Blipper to previous Blip-entries.  The number of hen's teeth in your collection will match the number of good workmen that we've had working here.
