......where is the sea?

Before the earthquake it was just there, below our feet. NZ Fur seals used to frolic in the water, some would sunbathe in the car park behind us. The earthquake has caused the seabed to rise, the seals are still there but you now have to walk out to view them which is what these people were doing. The seals are happier being close to the sea and are now sunbathing on the rocks ready for a quick get-away if needed.

A glorious day, blue sky, blue ocean, warm in the sun, snow capped mountains, a breath-taking scene throughout the day.
