Richmond: Running Watercolours

Spent some time by the river at Richmond: it drizzled on and off, but most of the birds didn't mind... There were two mandarin drakes sheltering under a boat when I arrived, but one came over when the other birds assumed that I had food. It was overcast, but I loved the way that the colourful plumage (and boats beyond) reflected on the clean water.
The three vanilla-coloured domestic ducks were there and on friendly form, and there was also a greylag hybrid pottering about.
