Almost Blooming

This amaryllis came in a wax ball decorated to look like a tree ornament. There were no stems or blooms, but the paper said nothing needed except to set on level space. A long-time family friend sent it. When it blooms, I might need to prop it up or secure the base, but as you can see it’s getting there.
