Special Pink Christmas Poinsettia-Orban's Nursery

We live near a wonderful nursery, Orban's, that specializes in poinsettias, and also many beautiful roses. They grow giant fields of the poinsettas that go on for miles! They ship most to retailers, but once a year they have their holiday drive through and sell plants to customers for a good cause. This year was to raise funds for Southearn Guide Dogs, a wonderful not for profit pairing assist dogs for the sight impaired. I always try to pick out unusual varieties and this year these mottled pink and whites were my favorites. They are a long time institution in Bradenton, and have the best of the best plants.

It is a wonderful Christmas tradition that adds to our holiday spirit! Thanks to Marty for his dedication to the beauty of the plants, and their support of a good cause!
