Crichton Castle

I went up town to do a maths tutorial (coordinate geometry and vectors - it was gripping, natch) then back home where brother-i-l and founder blipper Jim picked us up in his car and drove us out to Humbie. D had an afternoon tutorial from his sister on copy-editing and the like, and Jim and I went out for a spin to get out of their way. We called in at Soutra Aisle, which I'd not visited before - my goodness it was windy. No wonder they've sited a massive wind farm up there. Then on to Crichton Castle which I remembered having visited about 25 years ago - must say it was much easier accessing it from the carpark rather than scrambling through the brambles and bracken from the direction of Borthwick! It's a grim looking place.

Back to Humbie where we had a delicious meal and blethered mightily.
