A quiet day in.

... was my intention today. A bit of a throat infection, so I thought a relaxing day at home would be the order of the day. I hadn't bargained with Kat (5) and Etty (2) the children of one of our neighbours who came round for a visit on their way to the shops to get the ingredients for biscuit making. They hit us like a tornado, leaving us exhausted. Imagine our delight when they paid a second visit later to bring us biscuits they'd made. ;-)
The blip? A quick kitchen window chaffinch. Intending to brave the elements tomorrow for another twitch. A quiet day out.
