Small but extremely...
,,, important to me, as this little creature was my 50th consecutive bird blip back in March. This photo was taken today at RSPB Old Moor, only about 50 yards from where no 50 was taken. It was bitterly cold today, and although there were plenty of ducks around, we didn't see a massive range of birds (a bittern was seen, but not by us and a sparrowhawk was too distant for a photo), but we were glad we braved the elements. We came back the high route and were surprised how much snow was lying. Winter is well and truly with us!
