Camellia

I met my good friend Earl today for a long lunch but before meeting him I stopped at the little park near the restaurant because I knew the camellias would probably be blooming.   I was not disappointed.   White, pink and pink and white were all blooming.    This was my favorite of the pinks.

In the extra is a red bellied woodpecker ( I think ) at the feeder...first time for me to see this on my back porch.  

Cold today!    Tomorrow I am going to see some waterfalls with my ladies hiking group.   Long day so it might just be a phone photo from forest!  At least this hike is not a long one like last month!
