Solace

Those of you who are familiar with my work know that these trees are meaningful for me.  Perhaps I post them too often, but they do remain an inspiration and sometimes I just get drawn to them like a Twilight Zone marathon pulling at me (or a magnet, if that provides a more ready metaphor).  Tonight they provide solace.  I remain pretty distressed at the political meltdown happening in my country all because of fear mongering.  The only wall I want to see is a wall of vibrant blue sky framing Oregon's steadfast oaks.
