Wandsworth Common: Shoveler Pilates
Spot the bouncing droplet in large.
Extra: Twosome between trees
Spent some time at Wandsworth Common in the afternoon as the sun was getting low in the sky: the light was wonderful (see extra), and could render the water totally metallic (into the sun) or like watercolour (when reflecting the plants around the pond). I went to see whether there were shovelers, and there were, so that was my blip picked, although I was tempted by tufted ducks surrounded by various beautiful water effets. Also photographed magpies, robins, a song thrush, and two curious leucistic birds (a blackbird with white face patches, and a mallard with pale patches).
Others here (or right from Staring squirrel)
