Catkins

I am not sure whether these are Alder catkins or not but they are certainly much darker than Hazel.

I did a little more Willowherb clearing this morning and was joined by two delightful Indian women who were out for a walk but volunteered to help for "ten minutes or so".  It was very entertaining.  Thank you Davindra and Gigi.
