Brewdog

I worked from home, today, for a couple of reasons. One is that we have an open plan office, which means that long phone calls can be a bit disruptive for everyone else who'd trying to work. And the second was that Milly needed a lift to Oxenholme for for one o'clock.

I'd planned to take her and Dan for a quick bite of lunch on the way there but both the cafés en route, the Hideway and Ice Cream Parlour, were closed, so in the end they grab sandwiches from Asda and we ate in the picturesque setting of the car park at the station.

The beer pictured was my reward at the end of the day, another Christmas present from the miniMinx; a Brewdog glass and bottle of beer. I'd never been fussed about having a beer glass but a couple of years ago my friend Colin brought me one back from Belgium (I think), which then lived at the Minx's. After a while I grew to like it so much I wanted one for home, too.

PS I'm a fan of Brewdog, not just for their ales but also because they've never sold out in the way that so many independents do. (I was especially appalled by Innocent selling to the fiends at Coca Cola.)
