Little extra

To be honest, I hadn't even considered a 'dry January' but I had thought about one that would only suffer from the occasional shower. So far, though, it's been more like heavy rain. Still, tonight marked the start of a four day dry spell. 

At least, that was the intention. 

I spent a lot of today and yesterday happily working with cash flow  spreadsheets, planning the year ahead and also looking back on 2018, which turns out to have been a bit of a watershed year. The Minx got wind of this and suggested we should go out and celebrate. Man, my arm does not take much twisting. 

Before that, though, we had a quick trip out to Tesco for something (I can't remember what) that the Minx needed specifically from there and then I went out for a run while she did some yoga. Extra calories earned, we went 'round to La Rocca for an excellent celebratory meal. Maybe this wet weather will ease off, tomorrow.
