Driftwood and culverts

A follow-up to yesterday's road repairs blip.  This is just to the right of yesterday's shot, with the culverts that couldn't handle the amount of water rushing down the hill. Quite a few logs were brought in by the storm as well, so this bit of beach is looking quite different.  I had a walk down there today to check it out. There was a lot of water running down the ditches at the side of the road, and in some places it was so loud that I couldn't hear cars coming. Not good when there's hardly any shoulder to walk on!
Extras: First one is of the tire tracks left by the machine that was fixing the damage on the beach side.  Second one shows more of the gravel that the water deposited and a few more of the logs.
