At the dyke edge
I went into work this morning but there was only one small quartz clock to repair which did not take long. It is usually quiet at this time of year. I met up with a friend for coffee. On the way, I spotted an Ogee American clock in the window of the curio shop. I have not seen one for many years and I am tempted. They are inexpensive clocks but have a lot of character. The shop was shut so that will give me time to ponder. I really have enough clocks and have only kept those that have a sentimental attachment or are a bit different or quirky. I went out for a quick walk in the afternoon but hurried back to the fire and my book.
