A Blip Reminder

A busy day reorganising my home office meant I didn't get out to take a picture in the daylight. So I needed an emergency blip and took this image of the Christmas lights in the kitchen. A timely reminder for me of what I think makes Blipfoto so special. The rule that insists the daily picture must be taken on the day it was taken means that some days the picture isn't the best. But we share it none the less. Which means there isn't the same ego attached to it having to be a great picture. A lack of ego that extends to the interactions with other blippers and sets the tone for the site, making it the very special and supportive place that it is.
