Tree Talk

Our lovely friend and guest Mr M from Wales, offered to take down a tree in our front garden, that I thought needed to come down. Something about it’s age and gait made me feel uneasy.

So Mr M climbed the tree with all the proper safety equipment and began the hard work.

He did an awesome job and it became obvious early on that the tree was rotten. When he got down to the base of the trunk, the WelshLad plonked a rake handle down into the rotten hole in the trunk and found the rot went down 1.5 feet.

Our Welsh friends are like the ‘gift that keeps on giving’.
