Southern Light

The view from the shore at Emsworth, looking out into Chichester Harbour. This was the scene which greeted us as we did our morning walk.  

The air was still and the light was poor but, as you as see, to the south there was some brightness.  Unfortunately it didn't move north so the day remained pretty miserable and cold.  It proved a good reason to stop and buy a hot sausage roll at the bakers as we wandered!

There is something reflective and uplifting about walking by the sea.  The big expanse of water and sky, seem to offer a chance to open the soul.
