In memory of the Iolaire

The scene is Holm Point, a mile or so outside Stornoway, the time 1.55 am. A group of 60 have assembled at the Iolaire Memorial to remember the 201 souls lost, exactly 100 years ago, when HMY Iolaire struck the rocks of the Beasts of Holm and sank. The island of Lewis has never recovered from this tragedy.
