Torchlight procession

201 torches are carried through the centre of Stornoway. These are in commemoration of the 201 sailors who drowned 100 years ago when their transport, HMY Iolaire, struck rocks and sank just outside the harbour. The procession drew out by far the largest crowd I have ever seen in Stornoway.
