Goodbye Fred

Backblip.
Mike flew South today to go to Fred’s funeral. A sad day as Mike has known Fred all his life.His Mum and Dad moved in to the house next door nearly 60 years ago and Pat and Fred have always been there providing someone to chat to over the fence and all the children growing up together. I’m pleased that I had a chat with Fred, over the fence, when we down last time :)
It was another 4am start so I was also awake and up early and keen to get on with housework , much easier when he’s away.
Finish putting the rest of the decorations up and watched a few more episodes of Neighbours, still lots to catch up on.
Mike got back at about 10.30pm and all went well.
