Bubble partially frozen.....

Ever since my first frozen bubble I have been glued to the weather forecasts looking out for another frost. Today was the day and I was up and at 'em blowing bubbles all around the garden. I really struggled to get any to freeze but I became attracted to the vibrant colours contained within the bubbles and the swirly oily patterns had me clicking away despite the lack of freeziness. Then I moved back to the yew hedge again where it must be colder than the rest of the garden. The bubbles started to freeze but this was the only one that maintained the colours as it slowly froze allowing me to capture this image and one other in extras with just a sliver of colour remaining. I have also added a really colourful one which I particularly liked. As a side note, blowing bubbles feels like really good fun and is relaxing and beautiful to watch. I might do it even when it isn't cold!
