Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all my blip and facebook friends. I hope 2019 is a great year for you all with good experiences, good fun and good health. 

The Phone Box in Crimbletown has been busy with the residents phoning friends and relatives to wish them a happy new year. I caught it on a rare empty moment and you just missed Goofy posting a letter to Mickey in Florida. 

These lovely accessories were a present from Texann, not only do they provide a photogenic splash of colour as well as very useful communications with the outside world but they also are a lovely link with our mutual pasts as Rob and I worked for BT for many years and Texann worked for the PO. Also the actual red phone boxes were made by the Lion Foundry in Kirkintilloch where I lived for 11 years and where I always went back to after moving to London as my parents lived there the rest of their lives. So, a fabulous addition to Crimbletown and a reminder of lots of happy memories.
