Continental rolls

Freshly baked, J picked up these rolls yesterday. The baker, is a neighbour over the hill. Originally from Germany, she bakes to order and customers collect their bread from a box at the end her track.

These were delicious! Light and fluffy. One with chocolate chips, one marzipan and the third, poppy seeds.

Over our leisurely breakfast with the rolls and fresh coffee, we discussed plans for the coming year.
