Lounge Dancing

After the bells and Auld Lang Syne everyone first-footed into ours - as the hours ticked by predictably the dancing started - for some reason known only to S - he found himself being spun around the floor on a chair...?!

So much fun and we were all cleaned up and in bed just before 5am. That is a miracle by previous NYE standards.

Bizarrely, I felt so well (I think we were still buzzing after the celebrations) that I decided to go for a run in the hills with the dogs. It was such a beautiful sunny day for it. 

We had a number of visitors popping by to search for/collect things they'd left, a dinner invitation and friends over for a marathon (4.5 hours) Trivial Pursuit session. 

I may not 'do' Christmas but Hogmanay is an entirely different matter :)
