Get ready, get set...

As usual a NMB Hogmanay is like no other. It was a late start for us after our travels so we missed the fireball challenge this year but we still ended up with a few folks around for drinks in the afternoon.

We then headed over to join neighbours for a leisurely supper. We’d collectively decided to have our own ringing in of the bells outside instead of having to walk 2 miles down the road to Carlops and back - this is getting the speaker set up for the all-important countdown.

Then it was outside for a toast and Auld Lang Syne with all our friends and neighbours. Just lovely.

It’s been a brilliant 2018 and really looking forward to seeing what 2019 brings. Happy New Year one and all.
