Last sunset of 2018

Spent the day at the coast, enjoying the clear, albeit cold New Years Eve. We did most of our usual activities in and near Astoria; coffee stop, beach clean-up, photos, happy hour at the Baked Alaska (the pilot boat station is just outside the window, they come and go). Just before we left for home, a beautiful sunset unfolded. In the evening we were at our daughter's playing games, enjoying fondue. Since I have a new allotment of extras, I've used two; one of Mt. St Helens, taken on the way to the coast, and a shot of a Great Egret and I think a Red-tailed Hawk.
