It’s amazing how much we saw in our few hours in this lovely city. One day I will return and see much more, but perhaps it will be during a cooler season.

These two buskers played wonderful music, their notes wafting along the street. We stood for a while to listen and enjoy - and dropped some money into their instrument case.

- Porcellino of Florence. The original Pig was completed around 1630. It was moved to a museum in 1998 and replaced with this replica. Located in the Mercato Nuoro marketplace, the boar is a popular attraction with tourists. It is said that by rubbing the snout it ensures a return visit.
