Standards Really Are Slipping

We had our last trip to the garden centre for the last of our free drinks.
There were no 2 for 1 cream scones, there were virtually no cakes, no hot food and no cups for serve your own hot drinks (or so one server claimed).
Needless to say there were no mince pies (there have been none this month despite the tokens that were sent out).
Tables had not been cleared  - but there was a woman running a vacuum cleaner around people's feet as if trying to chase them out.
This was with another 2 hours of trading to go!

I feel a letter coming on.

When we came out the sky was pretty grim too (see extra).

Tonight is going to be a quiet night (assuming there aren't too many fireworks being set off) with no parties or such planned.
I am just getting to old for this lark and spent too many years dealing with drunks at work - I don't need to socialise with them.
