Tour to Cornwall…….
………………………………Visit to St Michael's Mount
BACK BLIP
The third day of our ‘Corners of Cornwall’ tour took us to Minack Theatre, Lands End, a tin mine used in the Poldark television series, St Ives and St Michael’s Mount - then back to our hotel in Falmouth for another night.
The main photo was reached by walking through the medieval castle on St Michael’s Mount.
Extra
- Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, Penzance. This theatre, created by Rowena Cade is built into the cliffside. It is spectacular and absolutely amazing.
- An abandoned chimney at a tin mine, Botallack - site of a Poldark filming location
- St Ives, harbour side. The water was crystal clear and the gulls rather naughty!!
- View from St Michael’s Mount showing the tidal path between the island and Marazion.
