Lake Rotoiti again

I had to leave our camp on the river today to head for Nelson, but on the way I detoured to the lake again.  Lots of water action there today.  I have to admit I wont get in this lake - it is a long finned eel sanctuary, and my goodness those eels are enormous!  But obviously all these holidaymakers are braver than me.

In Nelson I met up with a group of people who I taught with some years ago at Waimea College, including Twigs (The second half of life).  It was great to catch up with so many friends.  It doesn't happen often enough.
