Pittenweem Harbour

The fishing boats are now safely moored until the beginning of January when the hardy fishermen will once again head to the chilly waters of the North Sea in search of lobsters, crabs and langoustine.  

One of the young fishermen was straightening out his net in preparation for the first sailing of 2019.

A few eider ducks come into the shelter of the harbour when the sea conditions are quite rough
