Harbingers

It barely feels like winter has been, except of course for the lack of daylight, but already the snowdrops are coming. 

This shot is a bit soft, as I had to crawl some way into the verge to get it, but these welcome harbingers of spring were too good to ignore on our walk today. A walk which, like yesterday, took longer and took more out of me than once it would have. 

Sixteen thousand steps and 11km, and 20k and 13km yesterday... must have got rid of some Christmas pud by now eh?
