Birding

We escaped to Langstone Harbour for a couple of hours this afternoon. It was sunny and mild although clouded over after a while, resulting in an eerie, wintry light and then a pretty, golden sunset. There were several birders around watching the waders roosting on the oyster beds.

Following weeks of over-eating and drinking, my New Year resolutions to move more and eat less have officially commenced and it's salad for dinner tonight and a much needed quiet night in.
