Foreshore

As it was a dry, sunny day today, Mr DA and I went to Bosham for a walk round the harbour and foreshore followed by tea (and in my case cake) in the cafe.

This evening I was out with the Easy Riders for a Christmas quiz night at the Rising Sun, only it didn’t quite go to plan. Firstly, the pub had cocked up our table reservation, which meant we couldn’t do the quiz after all. We therefore decided to have dinner at the local Nepalese instead and headed off there. Unfortunately, for reasons best known to himself, one of out number decided to take his 4WD across the village green by way of a short cut and got stuck in its boggy centre, unable to get out due to a gearbox malfunction.

To cut a long story short, we were all eventually reunited at the Nepalese, muddy and cold (except for the two of us who had been waiting at the restaurant with a drink and some poppadoms) and tucked into our meal. At the end a call came through to say the breakdown truck had arrived at the village green and I assume all was well that ended well.
