'V' is for Visitor! ;-)

This cutie visited with her 'Mom and Dad' today! Lovely friends of C&R's, came over for a 'Braai' (BBQ), to say goodbye and enjoy an early Christmas celebration together, they are going to their 'Holiday Home' in Clarens for Christmas and New Year and we won't see each other again before 4 January.
:-(What a lovely afternoon and evening we had, they are such good company and we enjoyed sitting outside next to the swimming pool, by late afternoon they started the fire for the 'Braai', J brought the most interesting meat treats and a 'pap-salad' (mealie meal porridge with tomato/onoion relish, sweetcorn and bacon, drenched in cream and covered with grated cheddar cheese melted to perfection in the oven, we had mutton chops and 'boerewors', a toss salad and beetroot, Malva pudding with custard for desert and coffee. Sheer bliss to spend time with really lovely friends!!

I added a couple backblips, see this as well as this one! I truly hope to be able to catch up with all my backblips before tomorrow night, since Thursday is 'D-Day' for #4 chemo session again!! Eisch, I am really scared this time around, #3 was a real nightmare!!
