A walk in the woods
on Boxing Day.
As is traditional we went out for a late morning walk to Leigh Woods above the Avon Gorge. This was the place where Grace and John had their engagement photo shoot but we haven't been before. It was very busy and a bit muddy in places but a very pleasant place for family and dog walks. It was very mild.
Everyone stops here for the view of the Gorge and Brunel's famous Clifton Supension Bridge and the Camera Obscura across the other side. A family were taking a birthday photo and asked if we would take one of all of them together. In turn they reciprocated, though Eda was more interested in watching their dog and I think John is standing in a hole!
Her rash has been better today but she didn't sleep well and therefore slept late this morning. On the car journey home she fell asleep again and subsequently wouldn't sleep this afternoon.
We had a nice 'Christmas tea' lunch when we felt more able to eat it than we would have done yesterday.
Eda was back on Magnus again this morning (thanks for other name suggestions but this one seems to have stuck) and this time she was wearing my Honey Bee Jacket, which fits her very well and is seen in it's true colour in the extra unlike my original blip.
Eda had her Top Knot again but in a rash moment after lunch Grace got out the scissors and she now has a fringe!
