My topsy-turvy life

Cheesy family portrait

Christmas day started early with me & Owen getting a day pass from the ward, packing up and heading over to Ronald McDonald House at around 6am...Aaron had already been awake since 4!

So we had Christmas morning together the 4 of us opening presents (and helping Owen) and having breakfast. Then in the afternoon we partook in the mince pies, hot chocolate and gingerbread decorating put on by Ronald McDonald House. All that before Louisa's family arrived to celebrate together with a big Christmas meal. All in all I think we made the most of being stuck up in Manchester and made it as normal as possible.

Massive thanks though to Ronald McDonald House because without them our Christmas would most likely have been spent sat on Ward 77. They really do provide an amazing service for the families of sick children, we even opened the door this morning to a box of presents, not only for the kids but also for Louisa and me too!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
