It's the end of an era at ours.

This is the first year that a mince pie and a carrot hasn't been left outside the door for Santa and Rudolph respectively before the girls go to bed on Christmas Eve. It all didn't feel quite right.

I abandoned excessive maudlin thoughts on such matters by watching the wince-inducing Bros documentary on iplayer. Luke Haines nailed it on social media, it really *is* like the last act of Apocalypse Now with Matt as Kurtz spouting pseudo-profound shite, and Luke as a thick Willard. The heart of pop, and sibling, darkness in full effect.
