Making the Truffles

For decades my mother made these delicious petit fours every year at Xmas time to give as gifts.
I used to help her when I was little (more than 50 years ago!) then left her to it when my children were small as it was her special contribution.

Now my lovely daughter, home from New Zealand for the holidays, is teaching our grandchildren, who made them with great accomplishment. They will be gifted tomorrow to their other Granny who is hosting the Xmas dinner. Good job kids -Nonny would be proud!
