Carol Service

Mrs BB and I attended this evenings Carol Service at St Michaels & All Angels church, Lower Machen. It's been a place of worship, probably since the Romans occupied the site in the 1st to 4th centuries, and certainly since 6th century. The present building dates from 1102 with much stone from the Roman buildings used in it.

It's a lovely old building and great that it's still very much in use. A lovely christmas carol service. The blipfoto is at the end of the evening with the Reverend waiting to speak to worshippers.
