Auld Iron Horse

It's been a beautiful day, flat calm, not even a blade if grass moving, and sunshine all day, with the odd cloud passing over.  A beautiful sunset, but chilly now at night. 

A good turn out last night, and a grand night was had.  I was up fairly early this morning, cleaned the house after breakfast, and got packed up.  Head up to see Julie and the family.  Great to see them all, and happy wishes for Christmas, before leaving for the ferry.  Arrived home, with mam and dad waiting at the front door, along with brother Jonny and family.  Off out for a squad meeting this evening, and probably followed by a few festive pints.

With the lovely day, I headed for a brisk walk before heading to the ferry.  Some lovely light and lovely views on a fine winter's day.  But it's this old iron horse that caught my attention.  I wonder how long it's been rusting away here, and how much longer will it last.  Taken at Braehead, Norwick, Unst.
