Lucky day!

We had heard that the Pohutukawa ( known as the New Zealand Christmas tree) have been magnificent around the Mount this year.  Today was our first opportunity to take the walk and we knew that most would have finished flowering.  Luckily for us a few were still in flower and looking fantastic. A shame the weather wasn't brighter but P was very happy to have seen them before he heads back to the UK later this week.
